Silver rounds refer to silver coins minted by private companies. They are often called “silver rounds” or “generic silver rounds”. The word “coins” were reserved and used by the US Mint for government issued circulating silver coins. These silver rounds usually come in set of 1 Troy ounce and are made of 99.9% silver.
