The Morgan Design Made in the U.S.A. Silver Bullion Bars weigh 10 oz and shows the design that was the design found in US silver coins. The weight and purity is clearly engraved on these 10 oz. The design of the silver coins started in 1876 when Henry Richard Linderman, the Director of the Mint began efforts to draft a design for the U.S. coins. In his effort to contact different people who would assist him in spearheading the design, George Morgan landed in the list of the recommended people who was known at that time for engraving designs in metal. 

Linderman and Morgan eventually came to an agreement of what was to be the design of the coin however, Morgan did not settle for the first design that was released as it was suppose to be the design for the half dollar. In 1976, he went into the Academy of the Fine Arts to prepare the Liberty head design and where he also got the bald eagle which was the reverse design of the standard silver dollar. The designs were thus launched in February 21, 1878 and now form part of this collector’s item for Morgan Silver Bullion Bars.
